Lessing-Flynn Battle of the Brands

Each year Lessing-Flynn hosts the Battle of the Brands to recognize the top local brands in Iowa through bracket-style elimination voting which is open to the public. The 32 businesses – which are selected through a nomination process – rely on their strong fan bases and support network to get them onto the next round — and hopefully crowned Battle of the Brands champion.

Along with bragging rights, the winning brand will select a charity that will receive $5,000 worth of marketing support services from Lessing-Flynn.

Previous Battle of the Brands winners and their charities include the Animal Rescue League, Farmers Mutual Hail supporting the Flaughless 5k benefitting the Wounded Warrior Project, Scratch Cupcakery supporting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Iowa, Blank Park Zoo, and Simpson College supporting Children and Family Urban Movement. Principal Financial Group and the Iowa Clinic won during the first two years of the competition.
