The Iowa State Fair vs The Iowa Clinic

picture-28It seems like the Iowa State Fair offers something for everyone. That coupled with the great experiences and memories people have of the fair is probably the reason they’ve made it this far. Iowa’s largest event has everything from midway rides to oversized vegetables, Ye Old Mill and hot tubs for sale. Plus, a resume that makes other state fairs look like a glorified tractor pull.

Iowa State Fair Resume:

2004 – USA Weekend named the event the #2 choice for summer fun in America Midwest Living magazine named the Fair one of the “Top 30 Things Every Midwesterner Should Experience” Featured in New York Times best-selling travel book “1000 Places to See Before You Die” Featured in a novel, three motion pictures and a broadway musical 400-acre setting since 1886 (formed in 1854) More than 600 exhibitors and concessionaires

the_iowa_clinic_200 Are people getting “sick” of the Battle of the Brands? We’ve got Cinderella indeed! The Iowa Clinic’s road to the championship game conjures up images of Jimmy Valvano running around looking for someone to hug after his NC State Wolfpack won the NCAA Championship. Let’s get one thing straight. The Iowa Clinic is for real. They’re bigger than you think, too. Here’s their resume:

The Iowa Clinic Resume:

Formed in 1994 Largest physician owned multi-specialty group in Central Iowa 140 physicians and healthcare providers practicing in 37 specialties Partners with local Medical Centers and Hospitals to provide leading edge healthcare for the patients of Central Iowa Averages 400,000 patient visits each year
