When the tractors badged with the name of Cyrus McCormick (remember him from your school days?) returned after a several decade hiatus, we were given the honor of reintroducing the McCormick brand to American farmers. In fact, when we started, the McCormick USA team consisted of two people – and Lessing-Flynn. We ran ads, planned media events, found “lost recordings” of Cyrus McCormick himself for farm broadcasters - and even helped polish tractors at the farm shows. One year later, McCormick had more than 100 dealers - and had the “other” red tractor company shaking in its boots.
