The Ag Retailers Association (ARA) works with retailers around the country to provide education and advocacy. However, their website had a challenging user experience and the site architecture made it hard to find information, which caused members to avoid the site entirely. Lessing-Flynn partnered with ARA to launch a new website that features a members-only dashboard with robust materials and resources visible only when members are logged in, plus a public site that helps sell the value of membership. The site’s design was created with mobile access in mind, as their membership is frequently on the go. Before long, members were regularly spending close to 20 minutes on the site accessing the new members-only dashboard, and potential new members were easily seeing the benefits of membership with the updated public site.
