How a smart PR strategy helped clean up a messy industry

In the heavy construction and trucking industries, getting passed on the highway by a truck with a dirty, grimy oil bucket in the back is not out of the ordinary. No thanks. Lessing-Flynn and Sage Oil Vac set out to show contractors on jobsites everywhere that there is a better, cleaner way to change oil and fluids on the jobsite that doesn’t include buckets, rags, messy hands, or an inefficient pump system that many are familiar with. Utilizing a wide variety of media contacts, LF began to educate the heavy construction and trucking industry audiences on Sage’s patented clean-transfer, no-mess and no-spill system by showcasing the ways current customers and dealers use their Sage equipment every day on the jobsite.
