How we translated an energy company’s values to infographics

Let’s get real. We’d be floored if you read this entire paragraph word-for-word. These days, people’s eyes glaze over before they even reach the end of a sentence. That’s why Lessing-Flynn designed a series of infographics for the Iowa Association of Electric Cooperatives: to celebrate and promote the association’s history in a quick, exciting way. The infographics extended into multiple assets including a 12-page booklet, individual images that were used on social media and animated videos, complete with voiceover and background music. The combined tactics were geared to reach an audience of members, influencers and stakeholders — busy people that don’t have time to read. Combined, the infographics emphasize four key topics: Safe, Reliable, Affordable, Renewable. And they look good doing it.
