How IV bags helped Mercy College achieve a 53% application rate completion

Mercy College of Health Sciences has been seeing record enrollments year-over-year, but the admissions team knew there were even more prospective students on the table that just needed an extra push to convert into students. Lessing-Flynn and Mercy College worked to create two high-impact direct mailers for prospective students at key phases of the decision path. Students who applied online received a postcard with fun, reusable stickers for their laptop, water bottles or anywhere else. Admitted students received, custom-branded Mercy College socks, packaged in an IV bag (as a nod to the school’s healthcare focus) with their acceptance notification. These two mailers creatively pushed boundaries to communicate with prospective students that Mercy College was excited to help them get their foot in the door with a future career in healthcare.
